CFA (Continuous Flight Auger) drilling combines extraction and concreting into one continuous process. It is highly efficient for water-logged and unstable soil conditions because the auger stem supports the borehole wall throughout drilling, preventing collapse.
Once the desired depth is reached, concrete is pumped under high pressure through the hollow auger stem as it is slowly withdrawn, creating a high-integrity cast-in-place pile. This process is faster, quieter, and produces fewer vibrations than traditional rotary piling, making it ideal for urban areas.
